Toggle for enabling/disabling folder quicklook
I have a better folder quicklook plugin, so I’d like to see a toggle for disabling this. Also, in wider perspective: it would be great to enable/disable various files/formats/extensions.

Support for content syndication markup languages (OPML, atom, rss, NewsML, …)
It seems to me that OPML (Outline Processor Markup Language ) was initially supported by Unfold, which no longer appears to be the case. It would be useful if it supported a number of XML-derived formats, such as OPML (used as an exchange format in RSS readers and mind mapping software), Atom and RSS formats, as well as NewsML (developed and maintained by the IPTC), which is widely used in media and publishing for sharing structured content. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_content_syndication_markup_languages

Added support for chart and graph formats other than Mermaid
While Unfold supports the Mermaid format, it does not support other commonly used chart and graph formats (based on text, JSON, XML, etc.) This includes formats such as .gv or .dot offered by Graphviz, Vega and Vega-Lite formats, and GML or GraphML formats, notably those supported by software like Gephi. https://vega.github.io

Missing compatibilitty with more niche text files
I often in my scientific field use lot of weird file-ends (.gro, .itp .pdb, xvg), lot of these have their own uses and can be visualized, but inittially can be opened (and are) just like any other .txt files. So I hoped I could open these files with SPACE bar as a basic .txt file.

Bugs - Scroll position in ePub/Mardown files and last window size doesn't preserved
I've noticed that in ePub and Markdown files, the scroll position isn't preserved (even though I've checked the box in the settings), and the same goes for the size of the last open preview window. Each time, it reverts to the initial size, like a reset. The button is also checked in the settings.

Bug with some .srt files (preview not working)
I've a small problem with some .srt subtitle files that don't display in the preview, unlike others .srt files— the other subtitle formats supported by Unfold open without any problem. To try and understand the problem, I opened some of these troublesome files in a text editor (like BBEdit). At first glance, I don't see any issues with it. If I save a copy of it, without modifying its content, this new file then previews normally, unlike the original file. I therefore suspect an issue with the initial tool used to create this subtitle file, an element, metadata, etc., that prevents Unfold from handling it, but not a text editor, which is more flexible for open this type of file. And by making a copy, this missing/malfunctioning element/metadata is then added/modified, allowing Unfold to handle it. Understanding exactly what's wrong, however, is beyond my capabilities.

Keyboard scrolling via PgUp and PgDn
This feature will allow scrolling the source code and structured text (such as config files) preview content using the above mentioned keyboard shortcuts.

Add support for webarchives not supported by default by macOS
While macOS (and Quicklook) support web archives in .html and .webarchive formats by default, this is not the case for other common formats offered by other browsers (.mhtml, etc.) or formats from ISO norms and international standards such as .warc or .wacz. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_web_archiving_file_formats

Monterey (macOS 12) and Ventura (macOS 13) support
We’d love to hear your thoughts on this! Please comment the macOs version you all are on. If a majority are still on the said macOs versions we can add support for these older macOS versions too.

Add support for .torrent files
While the Transmission app seems to offer its own integrated Quicklook plugin, to my knowledge, no other Quicklook application exists that offers this functionality : allowing users to view the content and metadata of a torrent file (trackers, creation date, number and titles of files, etc.). This could be a valuable addition for Unfold. - Calimero
